This was the fifth film in the Carry On series. 5th June 1963 – Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), a popular Musical Comedy based on the 1949 Stage Musical of the same name was screened in the Hall for its 10th anniversary. The film stars Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.
