This film stars starring Cedric Hardwicke, Vincent Price, Nan Grey and John Sutton. NB: Would be screened again on 1st May 1947 by McGovern Travelling Cinema, see below. 12th February 1947 – Texas Gunman, (aka Texas Gunfighter), a 1932 Tiffany Pictures Western was screened in the Hall by the Cineroad Shows Eire at 8.30pm (source: Hall Journal, see also Cineroad Shows advertisement in the Connacht Tribune, 8th February 1947). It stars Ken Maynard, Sheila Mannors, Harry Woods and Tarzan the Wonder Horse. NB: The Journal records Texas Gunman as the title whereas the Tribune ad uses Texas Gunfighter. 16th February 1947 – St Francis of Assisi, a 1944 Alberto Gout directed Historical Film was screened in the Hall by Cineroad Shows (source: Hall Journal). It stars José Luis Jiménez, Alicia de Phillips and Antonio Bravo. NB: This Mexican made film portrays the life of the Italian Saint, Francis of Assisi. 19th February 1947 – One Hundred Men and a Girl (aka 100 Men and a Girl), a 1937 Universal Pictures Musical Comedy was screened in the Hall by Cineroad Shows Eire (source: Hall Journal). It stars Deanna Durbin, Leopold Stokowski and Adolphe Menjou. NB: Previously screened in the Hall on 12th May 1939 by Daniel Ryan and would be screened again on 6th January 1948 by O Smith. 26th February 1947 – The Boys from Syracuse, a 1940 Universal Pictures Musical starring Allan Jones, Martha Raye and Irene Hervey was screened in the Hall by Cineroad Shows Eire (source: Connacht Tribune 22nd February 1947, NB: there is no record of this screening in the Hall Journal). NB: Would be screened again on 15th April 1947. 27th February to 7th April 1947 – No Films were screened in the Hall during this time (source: Hall Journal). 8th April 1947 – Tunisian Victory, a 1944 WW2 MGM propaganda film was screened in the Hall by the Cineroad Shows Eire (source: Hall Journal). It had been screened in the Hall previously in September 1945, see above. 10th April 1947 – The Outlaw Deputy, a 1935 Puritan Pictures Western starring Tim McCoy, Nora Lane and Hooper Atchley was screened in the Hall by Cineroad Shows (source: Hall Journal). 11th April 1947 – Reported Missing!, a 1937 Universal Pictures Thriller starring William Gargan, Jean Rogers, Dick Purcell, Hobart Cavanaugh, Michael Fitzmaurice, Joe Sawyer, Billy Wayne and Robert Spencer was screened in the Hall by Cineroad Shows (source: Hall Journal). 13th April 1947 – You Can't Cheat an Honest Man, a 1939 Universal Pictures Comedy starring WC Fields, Constance Moore and Mary Forbes was screened in the Hall by Cineroad Shows (source: Hall Journal).
